i jes got a 1986 Lt250R and i'm looking for a pipe for it ...what would be a good complete pipe kit for it thats under 300 bucks...also what would be some good aftermartket parts to put on it.....i Ride XC

I had luck with my FMF Fatty pipe. Made good power especially after I rejetted, put new Boyesen reeds in, and did a little porting on it. Do a little research and you should be able to come up with this setup for under $300.

 

i have a fmf on mine and it stops the choke lever from going all the way up? anyone else have this problem?

 

i only have a DG silencer on mine now, but i'm going to just buy a whole new DG exhaust system. DG provides awesome power and is a little cheaper than a FMF fatty/powercore combo. For like 250 dollars you can get a full DG xtreme/type 2 exhaust system from Rocky Mountain ATV. Dennis Kirk also has this combo but is like 30 dollars more.

I love the Fatty on my 85, the bike is very easy to ride with this pipe. A ton of low and mid range power w/o being real pipey makes it easy to blaze through the woods.
