Default Racelogic sport port

I have used and dealt with several brands of the Racelogic templates. They keep reliability in mind but make a good useable power increase. They are for the do-it yourselfer. The big gains in a Zilla jug will come from the transfer windows. There is not a lot of work in the exhaust and intake to be done with the exception of an all out drag motor. But to actually answer your first question I have not seen the templates for the Zilla. I can tell you that John at Racelogic is a really nice guy to deal and talk with. Hope that helps,Bubba

I have the templates. They are for the intake and exhaust only, not transfers, but the dimensions seem to open up the exhaust quite a bit, and are very close to those recommended by some experienced builders. The intakes are 25mm wide and seem to be a good width for an all around bike and probably a 10 - 15% power increase. Serious mods take the intakes to 32mm but that's for a drag bike. I don't think port timing is changed with these templates. Transfers can be done without any templates because the mods are usually only a couple of millimeters in width.

For a novice doing their first port job I would suggest Racelogic's templates. If you don't know what your doing you can ruin a cylinder by grinding off only a few millimeters the wrong direction! Best part is you can use them then sell them on Ebay later as they're reusable.
