I can repair it for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. I have repaired many bike parts that some thought were not repairable. I live fairly close to you, and I work in Chino. I could stop by after work one day an check it out, if you like. Let me know!

tiltmode, how old is your Z? Is it too old to still be under warranty? If it's still under warranty, then Suzuki should still be able to replace the part for free.
And one of-the-topic thing, Customfabandweld, I'd just like to say that you're a really nice guy. To go out of your way and offer to personally stop by to look at it and repair it for a fraction of the cost for someone you don't know is a real generous thing to do. Cheers to you mate! customfabandweld, i totaly agree with thebananaslurpee, that is a very generous thing to do! i am also willing to take my bike to you instead of you going out of your way because after all, you would be helping me a great deal by just taking a look at it and charging me a fraction of the cost! i apprecaite you helping me customfabandweld! do you do your welding at work or home?
bananaslurpee, i got my Z sometime around mid april, which doesn't even make it a year old from when i got it. the only time i checked about warranty was when i took it back to the dealer to see if i could get it fixed. im not sure if the dealer's warranty is the same as suzuki's but the dealer didnt cover it. what makes me real mad is that they charged me $80 to take a look at it and basically lie to me by saying that i would have to get a whole new swing arm!
