Default Laegers LT-R on EBAY

There's complete aftermarket 250r's with "Buy it now" prices of less than $8,500.

A friend of mine bought an R that is basically the Lonestar catalog for $6,500, and it is in mint condition. PEP shocks, carbon fiber, TT set up, and all....

The Laeger frame for the LT is rare, but not $8,500 worth of rareness.....

i gotta start shoppin for quads with you guys. i've rareley ever seen an R with all the stuff on it for that cheap. maybe you guys don't understand, the front and rear ends on that LT are the best/most expensive ones on the market. the T-pin front end is the only true long travel suspension (all others are limited by the bind caused by the ball joints, or heim joints). it replaces the steering stem, tie rods, spindles ect. the rear end is the CR500 link rear end. that rear end is ULTRA pricey! not sure what kind of shocks it had but they looked like axis to me maybe pep. i've never ever seen a 250R CR500link t-pin full leagers frame go for that cheap.

Juggalo, Have you looked at R's and LT's on eBay and the classified ads on ATV Scene?

Seriously, the only thing stock on my friend's $6,500 R is the swingarm and the bottom end/tranny. The swingarm is aluminum, and it is preferred for TT racing. Oh yeah, it also has the complete aluminum axel set up from Lonestar. Hubs and all.

Keep in mind, this stuff is used.......

A full Laeger 250r:

250r on eBay

Notice the buy it now price, and it still isn't selling.....

You may see people asking big $$$ for these things, but that doesn't mean they are getting what they're asking.....

yeah ok well i guess you kinda have a point, but one reason its so cheap is cuz it has works shocks on it. but still a pretty good deal. personally i still don't think that LT is all that bad of a deal.

more stuff i noticed- the LT has axis shocks, the R has works. huge difference there. LT has beadlocks R doesn't. and looks at the mods on the LT compared to the R. the LT just has way more. i'm willing to bet that LT motor is way more powerful and smooth than that R motor is too. plus you do have to remember how rare all those parts on the LT are compared to the R. that LT is easily worth a grand more than that R is. that LT won the district 17 championship too. i knwo rider skill has a lot to do with that but thats still pretty impressive. theres some nutty *** guys here in d-17.

You have to take into consideration that R's are much higher in price than the LT's to start with.

You can get $3K to $5,000 for a stock framed R. You will be lucky to get $2,500 for a stock framed LT that is mint.

If you're an LT freak and you've always wanted the Laeger frame that is no longer available, then I guess this is the only one available. $8,500 is still too high. I guess that's why it didn't sell.....

yeah i guess i'll have to admit i am kinda biased towards the quadracer. but another thing to condsier is the R is an 89 and the LT is a 92...but then again who knows what year the frames are from and when the last time the motor was gone thru was, but the year of the machine still has a big impact.

I know the guy that is selling the laeger lt and i belive it is worth way more then the buy it now price.Everytime i have seen the bike its been in mint condition. He told me he just needs to sell it because he needs a new bike and is hating to have to sell it.With the t pin frontend and cr500 linkage it handles awsome in my opinion.

It's a rare find, and I don't doubt one bit that it's awesome.
