LTZ400 Oil Tank Problems

I stripped the threads on the oil tank. Looks like a real pain to remove the oil tank. Any suggestions on a fix? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

I went out and bought a tap and die set to fix the stripped oil tank threads. Worked like a charm. Thanks

This worked out okay for you on the long run? I just did the same thing and a new damn oil tank is $170.
