Default checking tranny oil in LT250r

is there an easy way to do this on an 88 and up? there is no check screw if i am right on the newer models.

on my honda 250r all i had to do was take the screw out and see if the oil DRIBBLED out. i wish it was that easy on the lt250r.
so right now the only way i see checking it is to changed the oil?
any ideas?

evhwg, there's no way to check it, but I always change mine after every ride to make sure it's OK. A little costly, but cheaper than a tranny or constantly replacing clutch plates!
