Yes a modern day QUADZILLA from Suzuki would be nice, there was a article in Dirt Wheels or ATV Action a while back about Suzuki developing a 800cc sport quad to go head to head with the Rappy and DS, they used the motor from the euro DR800 road trail bike.

I have heard they are working on either a Z600 or Z650.

How dow the Z-450's do against the YFZ's?
Someone on here must have raced one!
I think an honest comparison would be a LTZ450 Yoshi vs. a YFZ 450 with an aftermarket pipe and air filter AND Cam.
The 400 has a market. For a short time people were buying them that would probably rather have bought a 450 class but, now that the 450's are out I think you either want a 400 because it is reasonably priced and has reverse or you want a 450 class because it has a racing suspension and more power.
I think having a 450 Suz would help the dealers. They don't have to send someone down the road to take a look at a 450. They can keep someone in their dealership and let them decide which Suz they want not if they want a Suz or Yamaha/Honda 450. This is the same reason you find a lot of highway exits with more than one fast food place and Auto-Malls are so big. The more competition in the same location the better each individual place does.
