replaceing V-belt on vinson

Default replaceing V-belt on vinson

how hard is it to do this job, i guess at 1800mi and some slippage it is time to replace, anyone do this before? and if so do i need to get that spring compression tool?

I don't think its too terribly difficult but....
Did you ever just try cleaning the clutches or maybe even installing a clutch kit???
I have more miles than that on my belt and no problems yet except for a little cleaning. (belt dust)
I think the compression tool makes things a lot easier but I dont think it is absoutly nessasary.
