impeller removal

i have an 03 z400 and the water pump leaks..it's not the cover "o"ring so it must be the one behind the impeller..how do i go about removing the impeller to get this "o"ring and replace it?

Invest in a shop manual. Well worth the money in the long haul. I always have them for cars, atv, boats, etc. I do all my own work so their handy.

Check for warranty work first.
