Default Eiger Performance Mods

Have any of you Eiger owners done and performance mods? I was looking into doing the most common, filter, exhaust, re-jet. I was not impressed with the price of the only exhaust for the Eiger though, being around $250. If I just do the filter, would I get any performance increase and would I need to re-jet? Thanks in advance!

if you do just the air filter you wont notice much of an increase now if you add a pipe (250 is a good price IMO) you will probably notice an increase in power... you will most likley have to rejet for these two mods.. what kind of power are you looking for? what type of riding are you doing?

Most of the time, I ride with sport quads on woods trails. But . . . there isn't a mud hole I won't try. What I am really looking for is more "snap". I hang right with the sport guys and can usually close any gaps, but coming out of a corner, starting off, etc, their accelleration is obviously much greater. I am going to purchase a sport quad next season, but not until mid season. I was just looking for something to give that little extra "umph" for the first half of the season.
