the blaster is the fastest in top speed too. it does 56 stock.

 

If you want a cheap low maintenence quad go with the Z! We offer a manual clutch for the Z 250 also.

 

I know the blaster has more mods and is WAY more capapable of getting mods to make it faster. But stock the Z has faster acceleration but the blaster top speed is a little faster. But if you get a smaller sprocket for the blaster, it would probably be a little faster accelration than the Z. AND yes the Z does look 100% nicer

 

listen to the other z250 owners chew. they know what has better acceleration.

 

yeah chewbacca, the Blaster has a higher top speed, and out-accelerates a Z250 (in most cases).

 

you all may be interested to know that the ex beat the Z in a shoot out in this month's atv action. it beat it in just about everything. i have never ridden either, but atv action claims that the ex is a better machine, and is (get this) faster than the Z. However, i would rather have the three in this rank: Z250, Blaster, the EX

 

hmm...don't know about blasters sucking. i don't know what planet you rode the blaster on but i used to beat the hell outa mine for a year or so and never once had a problem. Finally got the money to by a Z400 last summer. By the way i am 6' 4" and 200lbs. So that blaster had a load to carry. Also the other two may be a close competetior top speed wise, but again the blaster is easily modded out and then would blow them away. But i personally like the looks of the Z250 better.

Dude don't listen to those mags. In the dirtwheels and atv action in the first test of a Z250 they said this:

Faster than 250ex at 55mph
Better handling than 250ex.
Better looks
