I'm thinking of buying a 48" Warn plow for my Suzuki Eiger, I was wondering if this is a good plow? What kind of job is it to install it?

Dont get the warn, I had one on my eiger and after 1 year its all bent up (push tubes) They use round tubing and its very weak. Get a Moose, I just got one and its twice as heavy duty. square tubing, easy to install. about 45 minutes. The bigggest problem I have found is lack of low gearing in reverse on the eiger. Lots of times after I plow into a bank, It wont even spin the tires in reverse.... this is with 150 pounds on the racks for traction....

cycle country makes the best plows, they even have a very light but strong platic one. they are built the best and come with extra wear plates. they also sell an electric acuator witch isint much more money than a manual one and makes it much more fun.

I have sold Cycle Country, Quad Boss, CMP and Moose. WARN IS THE BEST. The only parts I sell for the Warn are wear blades. I have sold well over 200 Warn plows with no problems. With the other brands I have had lots of problems.

Just an update: I ended up buying a 50" moose plow. Putting together the push bars and skids was a cinch. Then when I ended up getting to putting the plate that goes underneath the Eiger, the trouble began. The bolts that hold the floor boards on were torqued on there so tight that it took a pipe on a rachet to loosen them. Then the bolts that hold the plate on didn't want to thread in with the lock nut on, so in the end one side has a lock nut, and the other side doesn't. The whole process took aproximatly an hour and a half.
Now, I'm praying for snow, so I can get out and try it!

Hey Mavrick,

Looks like your quad is still at the dealer. Looks good though. I like how you left the tags on the handlebars.
