Default 1991 king quad4x4

hey guys i am looking to buy a91 kq 4x4 as this will be my first 4wheller there are a few things i am not to sure about .i would really appreciate input. i am wondering about power, i am 5 10 240. i am also wondering about major problems with this unit or are they pretty much bullet proof?any other input would be helpfull. thanks alot

it is pretty much bulletproof and it will have enough power for all of your needs. it has a super low range transmission in 4 wheel drive that will get you anywhere.

They are very reliable. They're certainly not hot rod quads but they will go almost anywhere and do it comfortably.

PMK ..... the King Quad is a great machine. I traded my 96 in on my Vinson.
I would look for a newer year model. 91 was the first year out for them and they
had all kinds of bugs. Try finding a 92 or newer.... just my opinion. They are not speed
demons, but are great at working and trail riding / hill climbing....

Check the rear U joints inboard and outboard for play. The inboard one is around $150.00 each and the outboard one is around $250.00 each. Check the front diff on the left side for cracks it is around $1100.00.

hey sounds good great bike very powerful in super low locked diff will take off in 5th gear when super low ingaged ive found if you arent up to climbing a hill you can back up almost any hill around

i have recently bought a 92 king quad for 500 do you mind telling me what you gave for yours??
