i got a LA sleeve, and i was wondering how do i install a sleeve into the exsistion cyclinder, i know i need to take the old one out, and probley heat it. it is a stock bore cyclinder, going into a stock bore. i want to do this as cheap as possible. it is going into a 4 stroke lt230.

The original cylinder has a cast-in sleeve--unless the cylinder was re-sleeved previous, you will require the services of a qualified rebuilder to do this for you.

ok, thats what i thought, i got a price of 100bucks, in and out on the sleeve job.

does anyone want to buy this 230 when i am done?

it has the following.

2 motor. 1 great rebuilt, and 1 needs, cyclinder, and piston.
good motor has the following.

LA sleeve
Weisco Prolite piston, and new wrist pin
trinity racing cam
hot rod

great frame, straigt
needs 1 frount wheel, bent
has ITP Holeshot rears, and Fast trekker frounts
Everything is poweder coated, or chromed
this is all it needs, has plastics, rears kinda bad. frounts good.
all it needs is the rim, thats it and mabey new plastics

Yes they have to acually bore the old sleeve completly out. then they take the cylinder and put it in a heater and take the new sleeve and put it in a cooler and it almost slides right into place.
