My cams are supposed to be "GT Thunder Cams" but hey are Hot Cams. GT Thunder does not make their own. I have the same set up as thwy do, but with a 39 isntead of a 41. Its a nice set up.
Sparks makes the fastest Z's around. I would stay far away from Trinity, Alba, and Ct Racing...
Why stay away from CT racing?? he built my 370 Long Rod and it runs like a scalded dawg!! I am not a newbie by the way to the ATV world, I have ridden alotta bikes...... I owned an 88 TRX 250R from 88-92, (had to go to college and receive an engineering degree so I sold it in 92).... BUT I remember in a recent shootout with a buncha engine builders in one of the magazines CT woulda one but he lost because he over did it on expenses, BUT he had created the highest performer!! He is cheaper than Duncan!! Has better P/R than Sanders Racing... And if you watch the winners of some of the races he builds some awesome engines/bikes!! Look at Pikes Peak (the podium consists of CT Shees!!) Look at Paris Dakkar, CT is always on the podium, he beat Duncan racing out on the last one.... This performance goes a long way in speaking in terms of overall reliability as well as out and out performance in terms of useable horsepower!! I am in wonder why you are bashing on Allen Knowles of CT?? Besides the fact that there may be a delay in receiving your engine back, but gee it is winter time anyway so it is not like you are going to be riding that much anyway!! I know I am proud of my engine that he built for me!! Is there anymore proud CT built engine owners out there??
