Rumor has it that the EPA (Eternal Pu$$y Association) will be banning the production of all 2-stroke motored machines wether it be a highly modified Banshee or an economical weedeater in the year 2006...... How you ask? Well our friendly ganga smoking environmentalists have complained about the 'green-house effect' and so forth so the alpowerful government is making them happy...
BUT what about the nuclear fallout of various tests concerning radiation? What about the polution of some of these Heavy duty industrial factories, and so forth.... OOPS I better shut up because I help find these things that countries fight over called hydro-carbons, or called texas tea, or called black gold, or simply oil!! But rumor has it that when oil is depleted they will turn to natural gas, then when that is depleted they will turn to hydrogen power....... Imagine driving your car down the road to stop at a nuclear reactor to fiull up with hydrogen?? I will ride a horse if that was to happen!! It is all silly though, the polution that a 2-stroke emits is soooo minute in relation to the huge industrial factories that pollute soooo much!!

They are not banning them from production. They are just making the emissions limits much stricter in 2006. Most 2 strokes in production now will not meet the new lower emissions requirements and therefore will cease production. There are already 2 stroke outboards that meet the 2006 regulations. We may not see any more 2 strokes produced after 2006 because it might not be cost effective for the ATV companies but they could build them if they chose to.

Let the tree huggin bunny petters keep trying to ban the 2-strokes, the 4-strokes just keep getting faster and louder. They're doing os more good then harm. If it weren't for the tree huggers we wouldn't have the Honda and Yamaha 450's. Oh, sorry, we STILL don't have the Honda yet.
