Any one running larger tires on the LTF500. The gearing seems a litte low so maybe a larger tire would help. If you have run a larger tire, let me know what you experience was.

My advice to you sir would be not to change tire size. YOu can get the gearing higher by adding a bigger front sprocket or getting a smaller rear sprocket. First go with the larger front sprocket. that will make a more significant change and it is a lot cheaper buying the front sprocket than the rear one.

My advice to you Stocker is to re-read the post and notice the model again. It is LTF500 not LT500R. The LTF500 to the best of my knowledge is a sport/utility 4x4 shaft drive machine. rburns, I don't know about the tire change as I have no experience with this machine. But if it seems to be geared too low then you probably wouldn't have any trouble with turning larger tires and it would give you a slightly higher top speed.
