I bought my daughter a new lt50 and the litttle thing seems to have a hard time taking off. It will not make it up mounds over 4 ft high unless it has some speed first. And you can forget starting off on a slight hill. I had the throttle limiter adusted in a good bit, but that should only affect the top end, right? This thing is less than 1 month old and is still in the break in period. Am I missing something or is this thing missing something?

There is an exhaust restrictor plate you need to remove. Remove the head pipe and there is a little washer looking thing between it and the head. It will help alot!!!

 

That was done at the shop before I brought it home. I told them to do it and watched. It just doesn't have much take off. What about the clutches, can they be worn already?

 

Hi There is also a little spacer on the carb barrel !!
we have the kfx 80 and it had both of those restrictors on , which the dealer said he was not allowed to remove. Check it maybe it is still in there.
