i whanted to know how your guy's LT's ride compared to let's say a 300ex or 400ex, like if it's rough riding compared to todays modern bikes. i think my lt's o.k. but i think if could be a little softer i have WORKS SHOCKs. i used to own a 02 300ex and it seemed to ride a little nicer than my lt. just whanted to opinion

My friend's 300 EX is a LITTLE cushier than my LT, but it still gives you a good jar. My front shocks are garbage, so that may be the problem.

Hard to say I 'spose.

The LT's don't ride as well as many newer quads because of the front geometry. Look at the length of the A-arms, they're short and the frame in front is wide. Compare that to a Raptor for instance with the a arms coming very close together at the frame, resulting in a longer arm at a given front width. The LT also has a cruddy shock travel/arm travel ratio because of this. Longer a arms would help a bunch. I will tell you when mine are done which shouldn't be too long!

Sounds to me like you need to get your Works shocks rebuilt and/or revlaved. Quadracers ride as good as any of the new quads when they're set up correctly.

I agree with works shocks on the front and revalve on the back they ride and handle awesome. I am lucky enought to have the Z and the quadracer and the racer will kill the Z on a track. The Z is better for the woods.
