Default Does a Rad or Reed valve relly help..?

Ok...I was lookin through a magazine..and noticed you can get different types of reed valves. They all have different names, but i have heard that they are not really worth how much they cost. I heard they do not give a power increase, but then the other day some one told me they help a lot. Well, i just wanted some input from some of the people in here that have aftermarket reed valves. Are they worth it? or is it best just to put the stock one on with good reeds? Thanks

I just got a set of Boyesens reeds for mine but haven't yet installed them. I've had Boyesen reeds before and they seems to increase the snap of the dirt bike I had at the time. Regardless, reeds wear out over time and the Boyesens or another brand (not V-Force) will be less expensive than OEM reeds.

I have not heard anything positive about the Boyesen RAD valve. If you want to go that route than get the V-force type, I would think they make them for the quadracer but I suspect they run lots of $.

well...that seems like a good deal...but i just want to know if they are worth how much they cost...you have one Tom, do they add performance, or is it best to stay with stock. If they are worth it, Boyeson or V-Force?

Mine was on the quad when I got it so I dont know what difference it makes. Ive been told they dont really add power but just make throttle response snapier.
