Dead '98 Quadrunner 500
#1
Help.I have just 69 miles on my quad and it died after simply leaving it parked outside for 1 week. I have a spark & fuel to the plug but it won't start. The battery is fine but not even a sputter. Any thoughts before I haul it to get fixed. THANKS

Condensation in the fuel system; water in the float bowl could produce the symptoms mentioned.
Assuming your kill switch is in "run" (you said you had spark), I'd make sure the carb had dry fuel--dump or drain the float bowl, drain the tank through the reserve petcock, put in fresh gas, and give it a try. Maybe give it a shot of starting fluid through the carb, maybe dump some gas treatment in the tank to take care of any residual moisture.
Good luck!

Thanks for taking time to help me out. I took the quad inside, drained carb bowl to make sure gas was coming in (yes), and tried some quick start. Still won't start. I'll try to drain the tank and refill but I thought if it were a fuel problem I'd get something with the quick start.
