Heys Guys.. My Nephew got a 80 about 3 weeks ago.. He loves it bye the way !! He wants to go faster.. He is a excellent rider for only being 9yrs. I now, he is not a legal driver But I bet he better then some fo the other younger "legal" riders. Anyway, what kind of mods are there out there for the little 80.

Thanks
Jason

One thing to consider, is putting wider tires on the rear of the quad to make it a little more stable especially if you are wanting to go faster.

They will come in handy while trail riding.

I just modified my kids LT80 a bit and have a simple observation for ya. I put on a DG pipe and a set of boyesen reeds, and I drilled about 4 1 inch holes in the top of the airbox. The mid-top was drastically improved, it is much quicker and faster. The low end power is all but gone. It now acts like a real two stroke. I have determined the next mod will be a clutch mod by LRD which engages the clutch at a higher RPM and holds it in lower range longer. The clutch mod costs $125 but should be worth it. I have paddle tires I purchased from Rocky mountain atv and the kids can get alot further in the dunes than ever before, it has also helped in stability. For dirt look into shredders, they're cheap and a good tire.

did you make sure the exhaust and carb limters (or whatever they are called) are removed. Ive heard that there is a small plate in the exhaust and a spacer in the carb where the cable goes into the carb. These are there as govners. My friend has done some mods for his kids: performance pipe, low profile tires, and modified a-arms that gave him a wider front end. This little guy is good and his bike is a lot faster than other suzuki 80's
