Default Budget LT250 Racer

First race is next saturday... oval track. I didnt want to spend alot of money on my LT for racing. I put a pair of 86' shocks on the front which lowered my 92' quite a bit in the front and adj my rear shock to get it down abit. I bought some decent (cheap) 18" lawn mower tires for the back and some low profiles for the front. I have alittle over $120.00 for the complete set. No sway bar. I have it sitting about as low as a go cart! I will race amature or pro-am just for kicks and hopefully won't get lapped hehehe!

I will do it. I have spacers on my wheels and it is real close to 50" in the back.

you can get a lowering kit for the front from durablue and if you had an 85-90 you could also get a lowering link for the linkage....the 91-92s had the different, more compact linkage but best of all the other years.

Update... I ended up dead last in the Amature short track, heat race. I was in 3rd place Pro-Am Short track heat race, when one of the leaders hooked up, I guess, and hit the wall, which put me in 2nd. I slowed down on a yellow flag and the guy behind me passed me, which put me back 3rd.
Features I got a 3rd in Amature. Pro-Am Freature I spun out and didn't place. Oh and not to make it sound to great there was only 4 quads in each of the heat races.

Whats cool about this is, I thought the the amature class you wouldn't be allowed to use sway bar or race tires... wrong. Both classes I was racing against guys that had there quads set up.

LT didn't do to bad, and man what a blast!!
