Ok...first off...lately i have been trying to find good LT250 pics that are big enough to fit on the the destop clearly. And alotta times, the LT's are not nice enough for the background...(no offense, i wouldnt put mine on the background..haha). So if anyone has good action pics such as air time or just any other interested pics with nice LT250's in them, i wouldnt mind checkin them out. Oh and i really like Truckracers, but they have been on my desktop for a while.haha

My other question has to do with colors on my 250. I have shiny yellow maier plastics, with a dark blue Maier hood, and a blue Ceet seat cover. I will soon be painting or powdercoating the frame a dark blue. But i dont know if i really want the engine to be blue too. Should i paint it silver/gray like most new quads, just go with blue, or should i polish the side covers, and paint the rest blue. I dont know how much chroming cost, but im sure its too expensive for me. Also, if i did polish the covers, how much more on the engine can be polished? Does it take a lot of time to do this? Is it hard to keep it shiny? Wow...sorry bout all the questions, but i jus want your opinions.

Also, in this link, i really like the way the engine is on there. Only some parts are blue, some chrome, and some silver. Would this be possible to do with the LT engine? Also...i really like the color blue they used...

i sandblasted the cylindee and head on my quad and the clutch cover is polished and the rest is blue and it looks pretty good

 

I must admit I prefer chrome. It just look so neat and is easy to clean and does not chip so easy.

LT2Fiddy, That color blue is a candy blue. EAst coast atv did my frame for me and my local powder coater did all the other parts. The Candy colors are awesome they cost a little more but the results are worth it......just look at the detail of my swing-arm with candy blue on all the parts.swingarm pic
Polishing is high maintenance depending on where you live. But it looks awesome also. Here is a pic of the finished machine.

Smity, I ride a Z250. I do not think Suzuki make a 350 sport quad. Do you mean the 1st picture on my page? I dragged the guy on the '03 blaster before on a long straight dirt road and he whipped me!
