Default NEW Z250 Engine Chatter

Hello Again. My girlfriend just purchased a brand new Z 250 because she could not get the hang of shifting my spare warrior. When we first got it it would vibrate badly at idle and take a few seconds to wind down after hitting the trottle in neutral. Even though my z400 never did that, I figured that it would all stop after the break in period. That vibration has stopped for the most part, but now that we have about 4-5 good hours on it there is a considerable amount of engine noise (chatter) up near the top of the head. (valve area) I know the valves need adjustment after the first 10 hours, but I have about 20 hours on my 400 and the engine is still as quiet as it was the day I bought it. Do Any of you 250 owners have any coments or suggestions. Thanks

I had that minor problem it was not that noticable but I heard it, so I decided to put 89 octane instead of 87 and it gained a little umph and the noise lessend conciderably

OH and turn the idle setting down if it takes a few seconds to idle back down after revving it. But do this adjustment when it is warm! The istructions for it are in the owners manual...
