Default Need Vinson Wheel and more

Rolled my vinson pretty badly. Need lots of items including a rear wheel. If you have anything for a Vinson, even banged up a bit, email me at holt@floodcity.net

Thanks

The roll over actually is way over $1,000. More like $3,000. That's why I'm searching the net for anything used I can get. Frame is bent, racks, all lights, handle bars, front nose frame, a-arms, steering knuckles, rad, DVC Unit on front Diff, .........should I go on?

Anyhow, any leads on these items is truly appreciated.

You may not want to hear this, but if you have more than $3000.00 damage, I'd part it out and buy a new one. A new '04 could be had for $6000 and you should have plenty of good parts that would bring lots of cash. Motor, wheels, lights, rear end, seat, electronics, etc. The parts are worth more than the whole.

Believe me, I struggled over the decision to part it out or not. The bottom line is that even with $3500 (that's the final bill) it is cheaper to fix it than to part it and buy new. Also considering the hassles and time of trying to find buyers for the parts, it was just not worth it. I have been watching eBay daily and see what prices folks are getting for parts. Again, it was a better desicion for me to fix it. I did all of the work myself and it has been actually pretty fun. I can definately say I know a Vinson inside and out.

At this time I have swapped most parts over to the new frame. I am waiting on the last order of parts later this week and I hope to have it almost complete by this time next week.

So what the heck happened? Sounds like a pretty bad roll to get all that damage. Did it roll off the back of a trailer or something?

Glad your ok.

I rolled it down a 150-200 ft. high hillside. It rolled too many times to count. I was coming down into a gulley and couldn't get it to point down hill before it started to slide sideways. At that point it was all over with except watching it go, and go, and go.......
