Bought my 87 LT 500R last night
Hey people.... I have a couple of questions about the quad I just bought
1) What kind of jetting should I be using with the lid off and an aftermarket silencer (at sea level)?
2) I'm looking at an FMF pipe right now , does anyone have any thoughts on these pipe?
3) What kind of HP increase am I going to get with this pipe ?
4) I also have to do the water pump and crank seals . Any service hints while I have it apart?.

whats wrong w/the fmf pipe? What are the others tuned for? I ride in the woods, have a fmf pipe &
turbine core sparky. I havent found a reason to concider another pipe. I heard it aint real good to top
it out down gravel roads for a sustained amount of time, with any 2-stroke, especially a Zilla, so I dont.
Would I benefit by switching pipes?
