You say it is in good condition but what are the tires like and is there a winch or any other addons. I sold my 95 King Quad for 2000 us and it was rolled but totaled just banged up with a superwinch and a nice set of Bear Claws on it. I could of got 2500 but the guy who bought did not have alot of money and I work with his wife and did not want to hear gripe so I cut him deal. It had around 1500 miles on it. If the KQ you are looking at is in stock form and under 2000 miles I would think it would be at least 2000 us. You can always try KELLEY BLUE BOOK, they give atv estimates. Look under motorcycles on the page. I looked for you and it said 2085 us. Hope this helps.AlaskaBoy.

Sounds like a good deal, did you check the seals and see if they are leaking? Any grinding noise from the cv joints? Bearings tend to go out if the seals are leaking. Hows the brakes? Check these things out and if you find no problems I would say around 2000 US for it.AlaskaBoy.

Sounds like people got alittle caught up in the auction hype, good thing you did not. I went to an auction a few years back and they had a Big Bear 400 that was a stolen/recovery and it had been rolled, the back rack was in bad shape and needed to be replaced and the front rack was salvagble other then that it was a great machine. I had a friend working at the salvage yard and he was able to ride it around and it rode good and the brakes were all fine so I figured it would be a good one if I got it for 3000 or less. It went to 3000 real fast and I figured I could another 500 as it was only two years old. I stopped at 3700 and the next guy went to 3750 and I let him have it. Turns out the guy who one it did not have the money and could not pick it up. He had to go borrow money from all his friends so he would not get barred from the auctions for a year, if you win bids and do not pick up this is what happens. I found this out the next day from my buddy, he said that guy was trying to backpedal with his boss and trying to get him to call me and get me to buy it for the 3700 I had bid but when you bid and win you better have the money. Later I checked the market value of the quad and that quad in excellent condition wass valued at 3800, so he paid retail for something that needed work. Another deal will come along so be patient and if you need to know the value just look up KELLEYBLUEBOOK.COM and go to the motorcycles section then click on the land vehicles and you will find out what you need, just remeber to look under retail not trade in value.AlaskaBoy.
