Default z400 question

I was thinking about getting a z400, and since I've never driven a manual clutch I was thinking about getting the autoclutch kit for it. I was wondering how that would affect the performance on it. Thanks.

Matty , I never heard of an auto shift kit!!! If you buy a Z you will love it. Just get yourself in a field with a freind that can ride manual and in one half hour you will have it . And once you learn you never forget. Keep posting- You should get all your Q;s answered. You might even create a few arguements between the crazy brand loyal members. Its Fun.

It isn't hard with a little practice and you get better everytime you ride it.

Hey, I like the pipe - Sounds good and made a big diff from stock. It took me some time to tweak it just right. Were at about 1400 ft here , They sent me a 165 main with the pipe but it was spuddering at the top . The 180 seems to work the best. Three and 1/2 out on the air screw. Raptors cant catch me!!!(hope they didnt hear that- U know how they get this thread will turn ito twenty pages without me saying another word) All in fun.

Alba has the auto clutch conversion kit - I'd never heard of such a thing so I had to check it out. Another post here earlier was looking to put a manual clutch in a z250, haven't found that ability yet. They want $1400 for it though!! You get $400 back with a core charge. They call it the REVLOC.

I think if an auto is that important you should look at a Polaris. Personally - - - a manual is easy to learn in about 30 minutes of riding and I've owned both and think the manual is much more fun.

You'll be fine with the manual. You'll learn fast and prefer it. I learned on a sport bike. It's not as scary or hard as it sounds.

Wow a 180 main jet.I run a 175.The first time I ran mine it was cold as hell and it ran excelent.Couple weeks later I ran it again and it was about 70 degrees give or take a few and it seemed to spudder on launch then was alright.Could that be the air screw possibly? Were you the guy I was talking to about the air screw on the kfx deautaronomy?

manual clutch is very easy and simple to learn. dont put an auto-clutch on the z, you would ruin it!
