Did any of you z 250 owners ever drag race anyone on a blaster that has a set up close to mine(listed below) do u think i could beat you or do u think u could take me? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I own a stock 04 Blaster and a stock 04 Z250. My blaster is much faster than my Z, but I don't think the handling is as good.

 

the blaster would win on the strip but not in the woods,if blasters came with elec start and reverse they would be more appealling

 

the z250 would deffinately smoke a blaster

The Blaster would beat the Z in a drag race. the z would prolly win in the woods with equally skilled riders.

 

it would be a good trail race but in the drags it would kill it

 

Finnaly, people agree on something. The blaster is faster in a drag and on the track. They would be about even in the woods.

 

haha z250freak I know what you mean all these posts about my predator can beat every quad out there or tim farr won with the 450r so that makes the 450r the best quad but tim farr was winning with a yz426 a year ago

I bought a 2004 Z250 fresh out of the crate on January 31st...My buddy has a 97 blaster with an FMF pipe on it and we raced down a wet gravel road for about 300 yards. We were close in the first 50 or so feet, but he pretty much smoked me in every gear. And when he hits 6, he's gone. BUT, when we are trail riding, the Z handles much better than the blaster and he is always flipping that thing over, he also loses much momentum and distance clutching. Blaster would be great if it had electric start and reverse, but it will smoke my z250. I am still looking for a pipe and reed kit for my Z...anyone have recommendations other than the Yoshimura that I will have to sell my car to afford? check out my vids and pics at www.kristinandjoe.com
