Doesnt seem to be a total pile. It is missing the radiator cover part of the hood. It seems to be an 87-90 model so youve got the powervavle (which is a good thing), otherwise just get a few decals on it, paint the screen on the hood black, or chrome it (the neon green doensnt do anything for me) and paint the engine up a little bit and youve got yourself a nice machine.
I wouldnt go any higher than $2500USD for it though, I paid $1800CDN for mine and it only needed a cylinder and piston kit(about $600CDN). What it got is another story...

Correct, the exact same little window. I s'pose it makes the machines cheaper to manufacture when they share a bunch o' spare parts.
And lets have some pics of that ATC250r. I love trikes and that is my holy grail!! It still makes a joke of todays machines, if you like speed your gonna love it.
Wishing he was tearing it up on three wheels too,
Rodney

Congrats on the ATC!!!!!
I have an 85. Its what I cut my teeth on as far as 2 stroke 250. It doesnt take much to make them scary fast!!
On a gravel road stright line Ive never been beaten. Not even close. Ive never been able to race it against my
Zilla though. I had mine go vertical 4 to 5 shift wide open nuts on the gascap, thats lookin at the sky at about
60 mph!! All I have done to it is a pipe carb reeds & carb spacer, fresh motor and clutch. Im thinking of parting
it out and taking stuff for my trx.
I'd say wait on the LT until your done with the ATC, cause you may endup wanting a TRX. I dont think I'll ever
part with mine.
Just my .02

ill probably have to wait, dont think the missis is to thrilled at me getting 2 in one week,LOL
i think she was getting ready to lay her demands down for all the ££ ive been spending on the zilla,
cheers for the advise and encouragement, seems nobody has a bad word to say about the 3 wheelers,
im beginig to get the feeling they realy dont build things like they used to,
seems like the hedonistic days of fast and powerfull have been pushed aside for things more sensible these days
im realy looking forward to getting the three wheeler now,
