Help!! No Spark!! Z400
I recently tried installing a prodesign kill switch on my z400. I read a post on the for that you could wire the kill switch to the coil so the install was easier. So wired the ground to the ground side of the coil and the other wire to the other side of the coil. I started it a few times to test it to see if it worked and it didn't then everything went dead, I blew the main 20 amp fuse back by the battery. I then disconnected the kill switch knowing I did something wrong and put a new fuse in and it wouldn't start, It just turns over. I then checked for spark and there was none. I brought the coil to the local john deere and had a guy check it and it said it was good to john deere/kawasaki specs.
What could be wrong?? Please Help, there is an ice drag I want to go to this saturday.

ok sounds like the "Ignition module" may be the culprit....expensive and hard to test...its the part that sends voltage to the coil...it ought to have a bunch of wires coming out of it..best to try swapping in one of your buddies before spending the dough.... good luck
