Can anyone tell me what a ROOSTBOOST does? Could it be the cause of no spark at the plug?

I beleive they were supposed to advance ignition timing. Heard from quite a few they were junk. I took mine off of my zilla on doubts why mine didnt have spark either. Theres just 3 wires going in and out, I would disconnect them and hook up your stock wiring.

 

Was IT the cause of YOUR missing spark?

 

Havent messed with it yet. Just printed the wiring diagrams a 1/2 hour ago. I've never heard anything good about them, and I figure mine is about 15 years old, and when I'm on the trail, I didnt want the use less roost boost to die and strand me. Its just plugs right in on my unplug it and hook up the 3 wires and give it a shot. I'm still waiting on the top end for mine so its been hard to test for spark but I'm trying anyways
