Default Lt250r swingarm

I have a 1986 Lt250R Quadracer and I can’t get the long bolt out to remove to swingarm. It took me a couple days just to get the nut off and I’ve tried to turn the bolt with a wrench and its definitely not moving. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out?

Thanks,
Alan

haha...i had this problem too...i think everyone does...mine came out easy compared to other peoples. We got the nut off, and i sprayed some penetrating stuff on it, and finally got the bolt to turn. When this happened, we hit the end until it finally came out...i have heard of people having to cut it out, but its a 40 dollar bolt so i would make that a last resort.

mine sat under a tarp in seattle for 13 years

it was pretty well stuck......I got the nut off with an impact gun,,,,,,soaked it with wd40 and then got the bolt spinning with the impact,,,,,and it came out about an inch.

then I used a small airhammer to tap the back side of the bolt head forcing it out,,,,,air tools rule

the buildup of dried grease and rust/dirt on the shaft is the enemy

be sure not to waste the threads pounding with a hammer.
