Default LT250 Propegs?

I recently picked up a 92 LT250 and need some good nerf bars. I have used the AC Propegs on other rides and liked them but I noticed they don't make them for the LT. I saw on another forum that some people were using the 250R Propegs on them, but I coulnd't find any info on how involved it is to make them work. Anyone on here done the conversion??

Default LT250 Propegs?

im interested in getting some for my zilla, but again i dont know how they fit, i have graydon proline fitte at the moment, at the front there is a tube runs thru the frame and connects the nerf bars together.

at the back of the nurf bar there is a tab that lignes up with the original footpeg, this was drilled and then the nurf can be bolted to the foot peg,

problem being the pro pegs have there peg intergrated into the nurf bar so i asume you remove the original foot peg and mount the propeg to the original peg mount, but how does it do it??

is it a specific mount attached to the nurf, or is it a connecting tube like what joins the front,

i have some old suzuki nerfs that i could possably cut down to make a mounting tube if nessasary,

please help with this if poss

Ronnnn,
Thanks for the reply....pics would be great! Are you running the heel guards too, or just the nerfs?

Great pics. If I am looking correctly all I need to do is fab two brackets with a piece of tubing that slides inside the peg at the rear, then just mount the front half like usual with U-bolts and a piece of tubing between them? What diameter tubing are the rear mounts? Looks like you used a 3/4 inch pipe fitting?? Thanks again for the info, doesn't look to be too big a deal at all.

UK, the pro peg nerfs have a hollow tube under the peg. The brackets you have to make have a flat plate that attaches to the original peg mount on the frame and a tube welded to the plate that fits inside the tube on the nerf. If you can weld, it's pretty easy.
