Can't get the brake drum off the shaft on my '86 LT125. Shoes are free, axle spins free. I think splines are frozen. I've tried using a slide hammer puller, penetrating oil and propane heat with no luck. Tried removing the chain sprocket and pounding axle out thru the drum and axle housing but it won't budge. Am afraid heating with an oxy torch might warp drum.

Any better ideas?

Thexotic1--How bout a hint where you found such a gear puller. Only ones I've found with long enough arms have jaws too large to fit in the drum holes.
