99 King Quad 300 w/ plow do the job?
#1
Hello All,
There is a 99 king quad 300 for sale w/ plow for $4999 nearby. I am looking for an atv to plow the snow off the lake in my back yard. Was wondering if this was a good candidate for that as well as trail riding in the summer. Any replies appreciated.
Thanks
Sanpan

Hello all,
Took the quad for a ride today. Had a little problem with the shifter. I didn't realize there was no clutch on these units. Are they typically hard to shift or is it that I am not used to shifting? Any imput will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sanpan

To answer your first post. A most definite YES!. The King will be able to handle that. It will outpush just about anything else on the market.
Your second post;
Yes they can be difficult.
Hi-lo-super lo 2/4/diff lock
Sometimes rocking the front front side to side helps, also if you are close to the detents putting it in gear and moving it a little will help. You may need the levers adjusted.
transmission;
If the idle is set too high it will make shifting difficult. You can adjust that.
Hope this helps.
