Default considering an Eiger but is the Yamaha better

guys, guys guys, if i were you and find that i was getting stuck in rocks or mud, then deffiently go for a detroit gearless locker from highlifter, dont go for a spool locker, as you will break parts, i got my DGL and have never looked back, no wearing out the brakes cause i need to clamp them for 4x4, and none of that hoping trying to make it over a log or rock , and only 3 out of 4 wheels spinning, the installation is only about 2 1/2 hrs, thats all it took me and a friend with air tools. i would say get the locker before you need it.

i cant see that clamping the binders when 1 wheel is spinning and one is not is good for the bike to say the least, all the sudden 1 wheel could be doing 20mph, the other 0mph, then when you clamp the brakes and release, that 1 stationary wheel has to get all that power transferd to the cv joint, and take the sudden abouse, it is not like on pavement in 4x4 when you just go, and all 4 wheels start spinning symotaneously. just imho.

p.s i am going to go try some desert riding this weekend in AZ, this is new to me i am rentin kodiak 400's how are they?
