Default Vinson pinging

2003 vinson 5sp. when shifting between gears seems to make a low octane ping?? Am definitly not lugging it, took to the dealer and theycould'nt find anything wrong, machine has around 300 miles. Any help would be great THANKS!

I'm new to the Vinson scene, but have been around performance cars a long time. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but you could try adding an octane booster to your next tank of gas. Maybe you had some bad gas.

The machine has done this since it was new, I have ran premium in it there was no difference. Thought some one was going to say timing is to far advanced but dealer said he checked.

possibley a bad valve rocker.

its a suzuki 4 stroke they all make a little noise but ther is nothing wrong with them they just make noise. Go faster ride it harder it will love it. you cant baby a vinson they are built to run.
