Default Steering Stem

I have a 86 lt250r, i have alot of up an down play in my steering stem what do i need to do?

Straight up and down???? or back and forth??? For straight up and down , you might want to try shims(such as thin washers) to remove the play. For back and forth play you will have to replace the bushing.

Default Steering Stem

Make sure all the washers and seals are installed correctly and the nut on the end of the steering stem is tight. If you don't have a shop manual you can see a parts diagram here.
