The 85 does have reeds. They are located under the cylinder.

??????? Well I feel dumb. The only reeds I am familiar with are the ones that are typically located between the carbs and the cylinder. So how do I check the reeds in this motor? Do I have to pull the head and cylinder off?
How can they be mounted under the cylinder? I'm going to grab my manual. BRB
