Default jumping a z-250

Hey guys, I have learned that i love to jump my atv, but knowing i only have a stock suspension on my z250 is a little scary. I definalty dont want to break n e thing. I am a big guy 6'1 195 pounds. Is there anything i can do to improve my suspension for jumping, or anything that would help me jump, and land better and/or softer. I am not to aware of the varities in aftermarket for z250.......

yeah you do have to get specific shocks for it. i'll look around for some good shocks that don't cost too much for you and let you know what i find.
