I was wondering what it means when the tip of your plug just looks like metal. I know white=lean and tan or brown is right on. I rejetted and did a few plug checks while I was riding and the tip of my plug is just metal. Looks brand new or just cleaned. Before I rejetted, I know it was lean, cause my plug would be white. Soooo...... am I still a little lean, or am I good to go?

 

Probably, you didnt leave it in long enough during your run. Reading plugs on a 4 stroke, is a little tougher than on a 2 stroke, because a 4 burns only gas and not oil too. Do you have any drivability problems? Missing, backfiring, black smoke, bogging, hard starting?
