OHM meter help

It depends upon what the expected reading is in ohms. If it's less than 10 or 20 then I would use the 1X scale on that scale the number read on the meter is the ohms. If the expected measurment is about 100 ohms I would use the 10X range. On this range take the number on the meter and multiply by 10. On the 1K range multiply by 1000 etc..
1K ohm = 1000 ohms
1M (or Meg) = 1,000,000 ohms

didnt realize i had to zero out the OHM meter because i had a ANOLOG one GRRRRR just read that.
i am going to get a digital one tonight and an impact gun just in case it has to come off.
the readings should be in the (EX) .000 so i guess it should be set for X10 then?
let eveyone know what happens tommarrow.
