I was at Glamis this weekend and I was racing people as they would come up, I beat out 2 Raptors by 2-3 bikes a 400 ex by more and I went to race a Z and he beat me! I did'nt expect that at all, all I could see was a yoshi pipe but he riped! I must have raced him 8-9 times and every time we would tie or he would edge out at the end. And to top it off the "guy" that was riding it was like 10....Is this normal??
Just wondering if anybody else had any experiences with the Z.

last time I checked, a piped z400 was slower than a stock raptor. That z400 must have alot of internal mods.

 

There's your answer. Ten year old kid that weighs 75 pounds.

 

Judging from this dynochart, that Z probably had more than a pipe a jet kit.

 

I really don't have alot of experience racing DS's but I saw the guy on the Z race a FMF Piped DS and pretty much match him on every race.
I was like holy crap those Z's are way faster then I thought...I was just wondering if there all that fast or was this one just abnormally quick.

 

Must have been highly modded, brcause my 86 LT250 beats piped Z400's

 

if it had a yosh pipe there is a good chance it had a big bore kit on it

 

It was me!!!...nah j/m! He must have engine work done, but don't you love to roll up next to someone who thinks they're gonna rip you a new one and you spank em! Half the fun is the look on the other guys face and you know he's thinkin, "WTF!!!"
