price for used Vinson
#1
Hey guys,
You've been full of good info so far, so I've got another question. I've got the opportunity to buy an '04 camo/auto Vinson for about $5500. It has 93 miles on it. The lady is getting rid of it b/c she bought it for a boyfriend and they've split up now. Good Deal? Sound pretty good to me b/c I wouldn't have to pay sales tax on it since it's used and we don't have to register them here. Any thoughts?

yes. Take some time and go over the entire thing. Boyfriends prolly don't take too good a care of girls machines. This guy must not be much of a genius anyway to leave a babe that takes care of him like that. Where does she live???!!

She lives in NE Arkansas, do you want her number?lol
So I should change the oil, and look over it real good. I was reading in the Owners Manual about setting the suspension. Should I leave it where it is? It says it comes set on the softest from the factory. I'll mostly be using it for hunting, pulling a trailer some, and for fun. Should I tighten it up?

try all the settings. do it more than once!!! Call zuki and order a service manual. That way if something isnt right you can fix it.
These are pretty tight machines so I doubt that there would be much wrong with it. You want to go over it so you are familiar with how it works. Look where your vent lines run, no kinks. Don't be afraid to take things apart, everything goes back pretty easily. You may want to add some accessories later and its good to know what kind of room you have and where there are good places for mounting and finding the power to make em work.
Ark. prolly aint cold enuf but my favorite mod has been the heated grips.

and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the wonderful world of atving!
I doubt that has been in for the first service yet. original oil means the original metal is still running thru er. Get an in-line fuel filter if it dont have one. $4 and 5 minutes can save a potential headache down the trail.
