Hey, I sold my Zilla!! (2-stroke blasphemy!!)
#1
Well, one of them, anyways...My lil cousin was going to buy my 87, but decided he really wanted to buy the newer 90 instead, so I let him take it....For $3300. Of course, that one wasn't quite done, so now my 87 has no pipe, carb, plastic, seat foam or cover, and no front rims or tires, hand grips, clutch lever or cable, lights, or skids......Oops. But I still got all the important (and expensive!) stuff....
Anyways, I sold it to buy a brand new 04 Quadzilla (A WHAT!?!), well, that's what I call the DS Baja...closest thing to a QZ as you can get, I suppose. Anyway, I might (that's a big MIGHT), sell the 87 if I really like the DS, because I won't have the money to mod one and re-mod the other. Plus, no matter how many new parts are on it, its still a 17 year old quad, and it does seem dated....but more to come on this later!!
Besides, we agreed I can still ride it whenever, and if he breaks something I'll fix it if he buys the parts, so it ain't t tooooo bad of a deal (I like tinkering)
