I just bought an 03 z400 and it had been flipped and since it was flipped it doesnt start i was told it just makes a noise from the left side of the motor but the starter and the clutch when you try to start it but i still have to get the ignition from the person i just re connected the starter abd when you try to push start it i only hear the piston no other noises what do you think it might be? i'd really appreciate the help

um, from what I gather, you still need to get the ignition, but you're trying to start it?

 

this is what i was told by ther person i bought it from and i did need to replace my starter so im hoping that was what was causing my problem but i wont know till i get the ignition

 

y did u buy one that was flipped, was it that much cheaper? I dont no bout ur problem post something after u get the ignition

 

Dude, no offence but...you are asking people for free advice, yet you don't have the consideration to write your question a coherent way. Writing a paragraph long run on sentence that does nothing more than confuse people is probably not your best bet. If you were my kid I'd slap ya in the back of the head! Just kidding!?!? Anyway perhaps you could give it another try so people will be able to help you..

 

It probably contanimated the carb. when it was fliped.
Take carb. totaly apart and inspect and clean.
Make sure you have a spark and getting fule etc...
