Hey guys, i'm a newbie to this site and it looks like a great site for information. I was wondering if anyone has some good mods for an 86' Quadsport 230. I'm thinking about a complete exhaust system, bigger carb, maybe a big bore kit, or anything to improve the handeling of the quad. What are some good things for this quad? Thanks.

 

Hey... hope your quad treats you as good as mine has treated me.... you can get oil coolers, high copression piston and cams about anywhere...I have a DG alloy exhaust I just love,K&N filter...I also got a rear shock w/res ..that made a BIG difference in the ride..the newer shock doesn`t have the big height adj of the stock shock but, doesn`t hurt a bit...I am trying a set of front shocks off a 300ex that I am thinking I like...I might try building a bracket to let the front end back down an inch or so as these are a little longer that stock shocks were... Watch e-bay for used parts you might nee,,,just don`t bid on things I`m biddin` on...LOL !!

 

Thanks for the reply, i've been looking into the Dg exhaust and i think i'll be getting one soon. Mine has razr rear tires, a k&n air filter, and msr dominator bars, which i really like. We just got another foot and a half of snow here last night so it'll be awhile before i get it out on the trails!
