scratch ya nuts go get a beer an rethink the whole thing, grab me 1 too while were at it.jk,Um have u put a 6 point socket on it w a breaker bar or ratchet an a nice cheater pipe handle.I dont like to use a ratchet or work like that cause if somethng lets go 1 beer just wont cut it then, pain city.Remember righty tighty lefty loosy on most bolts, when your in awkawrd cramped quarters it can get a bit dyslexic sometimes.Dont forget to save the beverages for last cause that can coomplicate an screw up the process as well with too many frosty 1s.JK good luck an have fun

FOrgot to mention that if none of them work grab a vise grip put quad on its grab bar support it 2,then try that if nut head is rounded off,if shock dont work lke some of the other roomies mentioned ya can heat bolt head an try shocking that but becarful w a torch too much heat can weaken metal an cases an keep heat on bolt head an not for too long of a time as it will spread to the surroundng areas an could weaken them.if ya know what u are doing ya could cut / oxidize w torch nut/bolt head,ez or drill it out an in some cases then ya have to put a new heli coil in it.THats like getting extreme an that slike a last resort kinda deal.

Take a punch about the size of the bolt. Any piece of steel or brass etc will do. A old ratched extension was what i used at one time on a bolt i had a problem with. Place it against it and smack it with a hammer. Not to awfull hard, but a good smack. Then try it with a good socket and ratchet. Try it again if it didn't work the first time. It took me 4 times to loosen a bolt i had a problem with.. Luck to ya.

I am not sure cause i have yet to work on my quad, but make sure that you are using the correct size socket, not saying you dont know what you are doing but for instance a 12mm and a 1/2in are very close but a 1/2 will strip a tight 12...
